Nut Grass Control
Nut Grass is considered a type of sedge (neither grass nor weed). It grows aggressively from June to September at a rate of 3 times as fast as normal grass. We find that early control is the best remedy to stop it from becoming widespread throughout your lawn. This also keeps the nutgrass from multiplying into thicker patches which when treated leave brown areas that need to be reseeded.
We only treat the areas in the lawn where nutgrass is present, as this is a post emergent herbicide. More than one treatment may be required per year.
