Kyllinga Grass
Kyllinga grass is a perennial sedge with narrow grass-like leaves that grows more rapidly than most turf grass. In late fall, when it enters its dormant stage, the areas in the lawn where it is present turn to rust color patches.
Herbicide spray application 2 to 3 times per season each a week apart, starting in early June to control infestation. This is a post emergent herbicide applied to entire lawn for control, due to countless number of seed heads associated with this sedge.
